Here at The Collective Studios we love to give as many opportunities as possible to all our students. We hold regular workshops with professional organisations and performers. These can be in a range of dance styles and are open to all. In the past we have had Ballet, Irish, Hip Hop, House, Contemporary, Breakdance to name a few.
Some of our students have had the opportunity to perform at pantomimes at Blackpool’s North Pier. We also have opportunities to perform at local events and charity functions.
Open to All Skill Levels
We take part in regular competitions in the following styles: Street, Contemporary, acro and lyrical. These take place throughout the year which is open to anyone who attends the relevant class. Students have the opportunity to do solos, set routines (which are taught in class) and if possible duos and quads.
These competitions are a fantastic event that is great for those very new to competitions and those more experienced dancers as they have a range of categories from first-timers through to advanced. These competitions are great for building confidence in a very fun and relaxed atmosphere.
We also offer students the opportunity to compete at dance festivals. Theses are open to students who take Ballet, Modern Jazz, Tap, Acro and contemporary.
All students regardless of ability are invited to take part in dance festivals. Festivals are a great way to build confidence, develop technique and have fun!
